White Lily Ultimate Chocolate Chip Cookies
3 cups White Lily® All Purpose Flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup butter, softened
1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 cup sugar
2 large eggs, lightly beaten
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)
Heat oven to 375 degrees.
Combine flour, soda, and salt; set aside.
Beat butter with sugars until smooth and creamy. Beat in eggs and vanilla until light and fluffy.
Gradually blend in flour mixture. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts.
Drop by heaping teaspoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheet. Bake 8 to 10 minutes. Cool on wire rack.
